ABOUT THE COMPANY
The founders of Grand Prix Sailing Pty Ltd are the original creators of the Grand Prix 18-foot skiff circuit televised throughout the 90’s in Australia. They are back to deliver a global leading sports entertainment platform, focused around a new generation of on water flying machines.
They deliver high impact television capturing pure racing with entertaining and engaging virtual experiences for audiences. The stunning ascent of hydrofoil technology has transformed sailing in recent years and SuperFoiler’s machines are at the leading edge of these developments.
Amid a flight to premium content among advertisers, SuperFoiler Grand Prix is being positioned as a cost-effective marketing vehicle that can deliver powerful billboard advertising, and a compelling corporate hospitality experience.
Earlier this year, the inaugural SuperFoiler Grand Prix was contested by 6 teams of 3 world class sailors over five weekends across five states with events being hosted in Adelaide, Geelong, Gold Coast, Busselton and Sydney. Next year, the owners are looking to continue the series here in Australia and take the series to other locations around the world.
We are looking for a dynamic individual who can lead the business into an exciting growth phase as well as someone who can develop and execute a business plan for building strategic alliances, sponsorship and media. The company will also seek to raise further capital to expand its fleet and events opportunities.
